The Northern Food Grade Soybean Association and the Midwest Shippers Association have consolidated. Why? The answer is quite simple: To bring efficiencies to the specialty soy and grains world, to better harness the transportation and shipping expertise of its members, and to expand nationally to better reach our global customers.
Specialty Soya and Grains Alliance (SSGA) represents producers, processors, shippers and industry members of identity-preserved (IP) soybeans and specialty grains. SSGA’s board is comprised of directors from the two former boards; its members include specialty grains and IP soybean producers, processors, genetic/seed providers, export traders, international export companies, and qualified state soybean boards (QSSBs).
